Responsibilities
- Perform precise haircuts, trims, shaves, and styling services based on client requests and current trends
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening, communicating clearly, and building rapport with clients
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe setting for guests and staff
- Recommend and upsell grooming products or additional services to enhance the client’s grooming experience
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently
- Stay informed about the latest grooming techniques and industry trends to provide innovative styles
- Foster a friendly, professional atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive word-of-mouth referrals
Experience
- Proven experience as a barber or hairstylist with a strong portfolio of diverse styles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a grooming environment
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining genuine customer relationships
- Experience in retail sales or front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
