As a Formwork Carpenter, your duties may include the following:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans to understand the specifications of a project
- Building forms for footings, columns, walls, stairs, and elevator cores using a variety of materials and systems
- Maintaining a secure work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- Using hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble wooden material
- Dismantling formwork after use in a way that allows for its reuse
- Repairing existing formwork to extend its life and ensure safety
- Collaborating with other construction professionals, such as concrete labourers and construction managers.

* A minimum of one year's experience in concrete formwork required.
