Duties

- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies under supervision.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are followed at all times to promote a safe dining environment.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are readily available for cooking and serving.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to uphold cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
- Monitor inventory levels of dishware, utensils,



and cleaning supplies; notify management when restocking is needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent contamination or accidents in the kitchen.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and organization.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues during busy shifts.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to adapt and grow is essential!
