Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Knowledge of dental software such as Dentrix, along with experience in orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to work in a quick-paced environment where excellent communication and medical terminology skills are essential. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary supplies for procedures
- Assist the dentist during various dental treatments, including orthodontics and pediatrics cases
- Take dental radiographs and Itero scans
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix
- Provide post-treatment instructions to patients and answer their questions professionally
- Maintain patient comfort and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols




- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when required
- Educate patients on oral health care, including preventive practices and post-operative care

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant, with familiarity in dental assisting procedures and terminology
- Experience with dental software systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and digital imaging is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Level 2 Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$31.00 per hour
