Our restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations. In addition, the restaurant manager must demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills, while ensuring the satisfaction of customers and staff.

Core responsibilities

- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant;

- Be present and visible in operations, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests and develop relationships with new guests;

- Target the needs of guests by making recommendations and adding a personalized touch;

- Deal with guests’ complaints with the highest level of professionalism;

- Control operating and labor costs through an effective approach to schedules, budgets, purchasing decisions and inventory control while also addressing creative solutions to generate revenue in order to maximize profits;

- Work closely with the Director of Operations, Executive Chef and the Sous Chefs in order to develop menus and wine lists of interest, while making sure to offer products of excellent quality at a fair price;





- Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational requirements are met and attend operational meetings on a periodic basis to ensure effective coordination and cooperation across departments;

- Share daily operational requirements and assign day-to-day tasks to managers and employees under this responsibility;

- Review reservations daily to ensure compliance with special requests, regular guests and group bookings;

- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach and discipline the employees of the restaurant to ensure that established basic and cultural standards are met;

- Manage and review the work schedules of employees under their charge to reflect business needs;

- Create an open and cooperative working environment in which the opinion of everyone is shared and valued;

- Create a positive experience for our guests by ensuring a high level of service and ensuring that all team members are well trained and committed to understanding the needs of our guests and exceeding their expectations;

- Coach and develop team members by providing continuous feedback, setting goals and conducting performance evaluations

- Create a motivated, professional, fun team and environment, where employees feel like family

Qualifications and Skills





- Ability to communicate fluently in English and French, both orally and in writing;

- Has resistance to stress and manages it in a positive and effective manner;

- Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment;

- Demonstrate a very good team spirit;

- Have an excellent presentation, good speech, in French and English, and good interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of a high-end clientele ;

- Maintain a professional appearance and behave in a mature manner and with integrity at all times;

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment;

- Be organized, meticulous and resourceful;

- Demonstrate creativity and initiative;

- Good computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Social media

- 5 years experience in restaurant management or related field;
