Head Chef – AJ's Brooklyn Pizza (Vancouver, BC)

About Us:

We’re now looking for a passionate, experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and bring fresh energy, creativity, and leadership to our operation.

What You'll Do:

- Lead daily kitchen operations with precision and passion
- Oversee food prep, cooking, and quality control
- Innovate new seasonal pizza specials and refine our menu
- Manage food and labor costs while maintaining high standards
- Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all health regulations
- Work closely with management to maintain a cohesive, efficient, and positive workplace

What You Bring:

- Minimum 3+ years in a head chef or senior kitchen leadership role
- Strong experience with pizza-making (NY-style, or other)
- Deep knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory, and cost control




- A creative mindset with a strong eye for presentation and flavor
- Leadership that inspires, trains, and supports your team
- A calm and organized approach under pressure
- FoodSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
