We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Wash Bay Attendant to join our team.
The Wash Bay Attendant will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining trucks and trailers to ensure our equipment is kept clean, sanitary, and ready for use. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and isn't afraid of a physical, hands-on job.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean trucks and trailers using pressure washing equipment
- Complete thorough interior and exterior trailer washes
- Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Prepare equipment for its next load
- Keep the wash bay clean, organized, and secure
- Operate pressure washers, hoses, pumps, and other wash equipment
- Perform basic inspections and report any equipment damage or maintenance concerns
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be reordered
- Follow company safety procedures
- Assist with other yard and shop duties when required
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working on your feet
- Comfortable working around trucks, trailers, water, and cleaning equipment
- Able to work in varying temperatures and conditions
- Previous wash bay, agricultural, trucking, or equipment experience is an asset but not required
- Training will be provided
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
