Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to work with one cleaning technician five to six times a day. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings to ensure spaces are hygienic, organized, and presentable.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, window sills and fixtures in accordance with company standards.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management promptly.
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent service quality.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Prior experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness.
- Good communication skills to effectively follow instructions and report issues when necessary.
- Able to work with one team member and help new hired employee to finish the task if need be
