Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Clinic Assistant to join our clinic.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of medical clinic and excellent communication skills to assist patients effectively and maintain a welcoming workplace.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Collect patient information, medical records, and medical histories accurately
- Provide education and set up on medical device
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Issue invoice and submit government subsidy program document
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and medications as needed
- Handle book-keeping and invoices
Requirements
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Solid knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Able to work on Saturday
- Must be able to drive to satellite location, i.e Gravenhurst
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
