Overview
We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in various wood framing techniques and construction processes. We work at various locations through out Saskatchewan. Travel is part of the job including staying overnights in hotels. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in the successful completion of projects by ensuring that structures are built to specifications and standards in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

- Knowledge in wood frame construction.
- Running a 2-3 man crew and managing apprentices
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
- We do small amounts of siding installation, and roofing activities as part of the framing process.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate heavy equipment such as skid steer and zoom boom when necessary for specific tasks on the job site.

Requirements

- Proven experience in frame carpentry, and general construction practices.




- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with concrete forming is a bonus but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Leadership skills are essential
- Willing to travel and work at remote job site locations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required for quality workmanship.

Pay: $19.39-$35.64 per hour

- carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
