Build Your Career. Learn the Business. Become a Leader.

Are you bright, ambitious, curious, and motivated to build a long-term career in business?

Are you the type of person who wants to understand how everything works—not just one piece of the business?

We are looking for a Management Trainee who is eager to learn every facet of a successful HVAC wholesale and distribution business and develop into a well-rounded future leader.

This is not a traditional “sit at a desk and observe” training program. It is a hands-on, immersive opportunity designed to give you real exposure to the entire operation of a successful Profit Centre.

You’ll learn by doing—working alongside experienced team members, interacting with customers and suppliers, understanding the numbers, solving problems, and getting involved wherever you can add value.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has the potential to become a jack-of-all-trades within the business.

Someone who is equally comfortable:

- Getting their hands dirty in the warehouse and learning how products, inventory, logistics, and shipping really work
- Jumping onto the counter to help customers and learn the products
- Working with contractors and customers to understand their needs and find the right solutions
- Supporting purchasing, pricing, quotations, order management, and inventory control
- Learning the operational and financial side of the business, including reporting, margins, credit, and profitability
- Analyzing information, identifying opportunities, and helping solve problems
- Supporting sales and business development initiatives
- Stepping into different roles and responsibilities when the business needs it

No task is beneath you, and no part of the business is someone else’s problem. You’re willing to jump in, learn, help wherever needed, and understand that becoming a great business leader starts with understanding the business from the ground up.

The Development Program

During your development, you’ll gain exposure to virtually every major function of the Profit Centre, including:

- Warehouse & Logistics - Build a solid understanding of our products, inventory systems, warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and supply chain processes. Learn how products move from suppliers to customers and gain hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day operation.
- Operations - Develop a broad understanding of how the Profit Centre operates, including customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory control, pricing, credit management, reporting, and financial processes.
- Inside Sales & Project Management - Take on increasing customer-facing responsibility by supporting customers, preparing quotations, coordinating projects, managing orders,

and helping deliver solutions to increasingly complex and time-sensitive requirements.
- Business & Financial Acumen - Develop an understanding of the numbers behind the business. Learn how pricing, margins, sales, expenses, inventory, accounts receivable, and profitability come together to drive a successful operation.
- Outside Sales & Account Management - As your knowledge and confidence grow, transition into a relationship and sales-focused role where you’ll build, manage, and grow a portfolio of business accounts. You’ll learn to understand customer needs, recommend solutions, develop relationships, and contribute to sales growth and business development.

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

You don't need to know everything when you walk through the door. You need to want to learn.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Bright and naturally curious – you ask questions because you genuinely want to understand how things work
- Ambitious – you want to build a career, take on responsibility, and continue progressing
- Adaptable – you can move from the warehouse to the counter to the office and quickly adjust to whatever the day requires
- Hands-on – you aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved
- A problem solver – you look for solutions rather than waiting for someone else to fix the problem
- Accountable – when you make a mistake, you own it, learn from it, and improve
- Customer-focused – you genuinely care about providing an exceptional customer experience
- A team player – you understand that everyone plays a role in the success of the Profit Centre
- Comfortable learning technical information – you have the aptitude and desire to learn HVAC products, applications, and concepts
- Organized and detail-oriented – you take pride in accuracy and following through on commitments
- Resilient – you understand that learning something new can be challenging, and you don't give up when things get difficult

Most importantly, you want to become more than an employee—you want to become someone the business can rely on.

- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers, and business partners
- Strong desire and aptitude to learn technical products and concepts
- Knowledge of HVAC/R products, plumbing, construction, or wholesale distribution is considered an asset
- Previous HVAC/R industry experience is strongly preferred

Why Join Us?

- Full-time, permanent career opportunity with a well-established, successful, stable, and secure organization
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
