Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly preferred. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. This position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and grow within the food service industry.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant workplace preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and making change accurately
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance
- Experience with food industry standards including serving, upselling, and guest services is advantageous
