We are currently looking to hire an experienced Warehouse Receiver in our Winnipeg Warehouse. We are Located at 1338 Border St, just off Route 90 and Notre Dame. Candidates must be available to work full time, Monday – Friday, 8am -5pm (two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch). Starting Pay is $19.00/hr. Preference will be given to candidates with Warehouse Receiver experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Ensures all inventory coming into the building has been received within established guidelines (regular shipments – 48 hrs, branch transfers – 24 hrs (pass thru transfers immediately)
- Stocks the picking locations throughout warehouse as required to ensure orders can be filled
- Responsible for maintaining organized overstock skid program: tagging skids accurately, up to date and accurate overstock binder
- Load/unload outgoing/incoming shipments
- Able to lift heavy loads (75 lbs) throughout the day
- Keep overstock area, receiving area, and all pallet racking clean & organized
- Report any equipment problems to supervisor or Health & Safety committee
- Prior to perpetual counts being conducted, recount & retag all applicable overstock skids as
- Manage inventory control: placement of new or expanding inventory
- Handles exceptions: Process shortages, bad batches and damaged goods
- Manage unused skids, keep neat & tidy,

Qualifications/Skills:

- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
- Previous receiving experience an asset
- Thorough knowledge of our warehousing / distribution procedures: understand how product is stocked and the flow of the product through the warehouse
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects within established deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of warehouse equipment, forklift (certified), hand jacks, etc
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision
- Able to work in a team environment
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
