T&T; Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 14 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Support - IT, the Infrastructure Administrator is responsible for maintaining and implementing a stable, reliable, and secure IT infrastructure for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the areas of system administration for complex computer systems. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods and solutions to provide a high level of services to the customers of the IT Department. This position is also required to participate in technical research and development in achieving continuous innovation within the infrastructure.

Major Responsibilities

- Develops and maintains system applications, IT hardware and business applications implementation plans, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.
- Deploys, implements and maintains stable, efficient and secure infrastructure including physical, cloud and virtual environment.
- Analyzes feasibility of system requirements, develops system specifications, investigates and mitigates incidents.
- Maintains and documents guidelines, procedures and configurations to install, configure and operate systems in physical,



virtual and cloud environments in accordance with policies and standards
- Ensure the regulatory compliance, security, availability, performance of the
- Works with vendors, service providers to implement systems, ensure security standard & compliance and resolve technical issues
- Keeps all system software current, tests and manages patches of infrastructure systems and components
- Perform system monitoring and continually defines ways to increase system performance, stability, availability and security
- Performs daily system monitoring on key system processes to verify completion of scheduled jobs
- Ensure datacenter ambient is running within defined parameters
- Perform any other duties assigned by the superior(s)

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

- Possess 3 years or more experience in various information technology system administration functions including but not limited to operating systems administration, database administration, software engineering, network administration, system programming or cloud technology, virtualization, network attached storage
- A diploma or bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is preferred
- Certification,



such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering (MCSE), Project Management, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or other designation relating to IT service management job skills is an asset
- Strong teamwork skill and effective project management techniques with knowledge of principles and practices of effective management and supervision is a must
- Good presentation and communication skills; possess highly systematic & analytical problem solving ability; also be able to plan, organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with company policies/procedures
- Service oriented with positive interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and responsiveness in completing tasks

Shift

5 day work week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm)

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
