Baywood Interiors Ltd. is a leading, progressive, medium sized woodworking manufacturer in Kitchener, ON.

In our 32nd year of operation, Baywood continues to grow and diversify its operations, and, is looking for the right candidate to join our team.

Job Description:

-You are well versed in all aspects of cabinet assembly in a busy commercial woodworking shop, working along side assembly staff with the goal of setting yourself up to achieve success in your assigned assembly duties

-You would assist the plant in achieving better efficiencies in all aspects of cabinet assembly

-You are competent working with melamines, plastic laminates, veneers, plywoods, and, solid wood

-You are competent working with small hand tools, and, woodworking machinery common to a commercial woodworking shop

-You are able to work both independently, and, in a team work environment

-You would assist in keeping the assembly area a “well-oiled machine” and a safe working environment for all employees

Education:

Graduate of Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is preferred

-Woodworking Technology/Technician Programs, or, Woodworking Technology-Architectural Millwork Program

Experience:

A graduate of one of the above programs, plus 3-4 years of current, relevant, industry specific, cabinet makers/assembly experience in a millwork, or store fixture, manufacturing environment

or





5-8 years of current, relevant, industry specific cabinet makers/assembly experience in a millwork, or store fixture, manufacturing setting

Reports to:

Production Manager/Production Supervisor

This is a key company position , and, requires the utmost in professionalism, ethics, and respect, for fellow staff, clients, and suppliers.

Rate:

-Hourly, 44 hours weekly, O/T is available
