A career in Financial Markets Operations within the large Market Events team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in securities distributions and market events processing. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact on our organization through your knowledge of financial products, operational controls, and process improvement. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of market events while contributing to the transformation and optimization of operational processes.

Your role

- Process distributions generated by securities while considering deadlines, product and client characteristics, tax withholdings, currency conversions, and exception management.
- Monitor operational activities, including reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and collection of amounts due, while ensuring compliance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
- Produce operational reports and statistics and maintain the accuracy, quality, and integrity of data.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal partners and stakeholders involved in processing activities.
- Recommend improvements to systems, controls, and workflows by analyzing operational data and identifying optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate in the development, testing, and implementation of new systems, tools, and operational processes.

Your team

The Financial Markets Operations Vice-Presidency consists of specialists who work in an agile, proactive, and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay at the forefront of evolving market practices, and continuously improve processes.

Within the Dividends sector of the Market Events department,



you are part of a team of approximately fifteen colleagues and report to the Director. Our team stands out for its strong collaboration, operational expertise, and dynamic environment. Requirements

- Hold a three-year college diploma, university degree, or equivalent academic background and have at least four years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of securities, market events, and financial products.
- Have experience in operational processing, reconciliation activities, or financial services operations.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex data and identify discrepancies.
- Have experience using reporting tools and maintaining data integrity.
- Possess knowledge of operational controls, compliance requirements, and risk management practices within financial services.
