Ontario Trucking and Disposal Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Stone Slinger Truck Driver to join our team.
The successful candidate must be an experienced and reliable driver who is fully capable of operating a stone slinger truck safely and efficiently. We are looking for someone who knows the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding areas well and can confidently navigate to various construction sites.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid DZ Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Stone slinger operating experience is strongly preferred
- Must be knowledgeable and confident in the operation and controls of stone slinger equipment
- Must have a clean driving record / driver’s abstract
- Strong knowledge of GTA streets, highways, construction routes, and surrounding areas
- Ability to safely maneuver a large truck into and around construction sites
- Must perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Must maintain the truck and equipment in clean and protected working condition
- Must comply with all CVOR, Ministry of Transportation, and company safety requirements
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and professional attitude when dealing with customers, contractors, and site personnel
- Must be comfortable working in a construction environment and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate a stone slinger truck
- Deliver and accurately place stone, gravel, aggregates, and other materials at residential, commercial, and construction sites
- Properly operate the conveyor/slinger equipment to place material as directed
- Navigate efficiently throughout the GTA and surrounding areas
- Complete required paperwork and daily vehicle inspections
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding deliveries and site conditions
- Follow all company, site, and road safety procedures

We are looking for an experienced driver who already understands the responsibilities of operating specialized stone slinger equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, knows the GTA well, takes care of their equipment, and can represent our company professionally on customer job sites.
