Job Summary

We are seeking a energetic and motivated Admissions Officer to join our partner educational institution’s team (Ace Community College). In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students and their families, guiding them through the admissions process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energetic approach will help inspire applicants, answer their questions clearly, and ensure a smooth, engaging experience from initial inquiry to enrollment. Duties

- Oversee the college’s admissions procedures from initial inquiry through enrolment; regularly evaluate and improve lead-response, applicant follow-up, document collection and registration workflows.
- Establish daily priorities for responding to prospective-student inquiries, conducting admissions interviews, reviewing applications and completing enrolments; coordinate tasks with admissions and administrative support staff to ensure intake deadlines are met.
- Manage prospective students through the complete admissions process, including contacting inquiries, conducting needs-based admissions interviews, explaining programs and career outcomes, assessing eligibility, reviewing supporting documents, preparing enrolment agreements and coordinating registration.
- Maintain confidential applicant and student records and ensure that personal information, academic documents and admissions decisions are collected, used, stored and released in accordance with college policies and applicable privacy requirements.
- Coordinate the admissions department’s operational requirements, including CRM access, admissions forms, program information packages,



promotional materials, interview schedules, campus tours and recruitment-event resources.
- Analyze inquiry sources, applicant pipelines, appointment attendance, conversion rates and enrolment results; assist management in planning recruitment campaigns, intake activities, open houses and community outreach initiatives.
- Assist with the admissions and recruitment operating budget and monitor expenditures for recruitment events, promotional materials, CRM resources, travel and student-information activities.
- Maintain accurate applicant activity in the CRM and prepare weekly and monthly reports on inquiries, follow-ups, applications, conversion rates and enrolments; prepare admissions correspondence, offers, checklists, scripts and procedure manuals.

Requirements

- Proven experience in recruiting or student enrollment roles within an educational setting
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to confidently present information to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with Ellucian or similar student information systems is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to teach or explain complex academic programs clearly and engagingly
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple applications simultaneously
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and external partners
- Passion for education and helping students achieve their goals

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
