Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, lifestyle, and nutritional habits to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Utilize a variety of natural therapies such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, and lifestyle modifications to promote healing.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective patient care.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and the perks of natural treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in naturopathic medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatments.
- Support pediatric patients by applying specialized knowledge in pediatrics to address their unique health needs.
Experience
- Valid licensure or certification as a Naturopathic Doctor in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience providing patient care within a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on pediatrics or family health.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures related to naturopathic medicine.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients of all ages.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
