Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team at Groove Dental. We are currently looking for someone to start at 4 days per week (Mondays 11-7, Tuesdays 8-5, Thursdays 11-7, Fridays 8-5), with the potential to move to 5 days per week in the future. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive and periodontal dental care, educating patients on oral health, taking proficient records, and supporting the overall patient experience. Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic, preventive and periodontal services
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix
Manage patient scheduling for recare
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario with good standing
Experience working in a dental office setting; experience with Dentrix is ideal
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work well within a team environment and independently when necessary
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety

Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
