We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Tech to help keep our commercial properties clean, safe, and well maintained.

This is a hands-on position involving general repairs, handyman work, groundskeeping, and building maintenance. The ideal candidate is dependable, takes pride in their work, is comfortable using tools, and enjoys solving everyday maintenance problems.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform general building maintenance and conduct regular building inspections

· Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and flooring repairs as required

· Complete maintenance work orders and preventative maintenance duties

· Maintain grounds, including: snow removal, ice control, mowing and trimming, weed control and general cleanup and debris removal.

· Keep parking lots, walkways, entrances, and exterior areas clean and safe

· Assist contractors and tradespeople when required

· Respond to urgent maintenance issues when required

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· 1–2 years of general maintenance, handyman, construction, landscaping, or similar experience preferred

· Plumbing, Electrical and basic HVAC knowledge is considered an asset

· Good mechanical and practical skills





· Comfortable using hand and power tools

· Basic knowledge of general building repairs

· Groundskeeping experience is an asset

· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

· Valuable communication and customer service skills

· Physically able to perform general maintenance and outdoor work

· Comfortable working in various weather conditions

· Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation
