Scotia Tire Inc. is seeking a physically fit driver to do commercial tire deliveries from Moncton New Brunswick, throughout the province of Current Brunswick.
Must be capable to lift, move and load commercial tires.
Duties:
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload tires
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each trip
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance as needed
- Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and security
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Ability to operate a forklift and other loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers
Please note that experience in automotive repair is preferred but not required.
