Duties

- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs including engine work, brake service, suspension, steering, and electrical systems with precision and attention to detail
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and maintenance procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Read and interpret schematics for complex automotive systems to facilitate accurate repairs
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to service advisors and team members
- Assist in vehicle assembly, parts replacement, and routine maintenance tasks to keep the shop running smoothly

Skills





Red Seal Certification in the automotive industry (Licensed Automotive Technician)

Level 3 and 4 apprentices may apply

- Proven mechanic experience required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various automotive systems and repair techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism
- Experience with automotive repair including engine diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and component replacement
- Knowledge of vehicle schematics, assembly processes, and maintenance procedures to ensure quality workmanship
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract
- Air Conditioning Ticket, and ability to perform MB Provincial Vehicle Safeties are a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
