Join Our Parts Department

S&B; Keswick Motors Limited is looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor to join our dealership team in Keswick.

As an Automotive Parts Advisor, you will assist retail, wholesale and internal customers with their automotive parts needs. You will also help ensure our service technicians receive the correct parts quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

- Assist retail, wholesale and internal customers with parts inquiries
- Sell automotive parts and related products at the counter, by telephone and through email
- Identify the correct parts using catalogues and dealership systems systems
- Prepare accurate pricing, availability and delivery estimates
- Supply service technicians with the correct parts for scheduled repairs
- Retrieve available parts from inventory and order unavailable parts from manufacturer and aftermarket suppliers
- Receive, stock and organize incoming inventory
- Assist with shipping, receiving, returns and vendor claims
- Monitor back orders and return-to-vendor items
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Keep the parts counter and storage areas clean, safe and organized
- Assist with other Parts Department duties when required

Qualifications

- Previous experience in an automotive dealership,



parts department or automotive-parts environment is preferred
- Strong automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills
- Comfortable working with customers in person, by telephone and through email
- Strong computer, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize several tasks in a rapid-paced environment
- Dependable, detail-oriented and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with a clean, recent driver’s abstract
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

- Ability to regularly retrieve and place parts at floor and upper-shelf levels
- Comfortable using a ladder
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to make local parts deliveries when required
