What You'll Do

As Lead Electrical Meter Technologist, your role will be dynamic and diverse, including but not limited to:

- Customer and Installer Technical Support, both in-house and in-field.
- Supervise and mentor technologist(s), overseeing daily workflow, repair quality, and escalation of complex issues.




- Represent the Technology Department in meetings with R&D;, Compliance, and Operations, acting as the department's point of contact for cross-functional initiatives.
- Manage product support tickets, troubleshoot communication systems, and diagnose & repair meter electronics failures.
- Update and refine quality control procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, product quality control, and electronics repair.
- Develop project plans, meet deadlines, and document progress

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for a motivated individual with:

- Electrical/Electronic Technology Diploma or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical/electronics repair, technical support, or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude with experience in metering, building controls, or fire alarm systems (experience with electrical apprentice roles is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with circuit board repair and soldering
- Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle (with mileage compensation).
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work independently.




- Someone who takes initiative and actively works to improve systems and processes independently.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with metering systems, building controls, or fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, RS485, TCP/IP)
- Exposure to product testing, certification, or compliance processes
- Knowledge of low-voltage systems or IoT-based devices
- IPC soldering certification or similar

Pay: $58,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
