We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and experienced Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. This is an active, rapid-paced role managing playgroups, ensuring canine safety, and interacting directly with clients.

Job Type: Part-Time with potential transition to Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities

- Pack Management: Supervise and actively manage open-play dog groups of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments, ensuring a safe, low-stress environment.
- Behavior & Safety Monitoring: Read canine body language, proactively prevent scuffles, redirect inappropriate play, and intervene safely if tensions arise.
- Sanitation & Facility Care: Maintain strict cleaning standards promptly clean up waste, disinfect play areas, sanitize crates/suites, and complete daily facility chores.
- Client Interaction: Provide professional, friendly customer service during morning drop-offs and evening pick-ups, delivering clear updates to dog owners.
- Basic Care: Feed dogs according to specific instructions, administer medication if needed, and ensure clean water is available at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Professional Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working in a professional dog daycare, boarding kennel, grooming salon, or veterinary setting.

- Canine Body Language Knowledge: Thorough understanding of dog behavior, play styles, and pack dynamics in a group setting.
- High Physical Stamina: Ability to stay on your feet and remain active for your entire shift, walk constantly, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Composure Under Pressure: Ability to stay calm, focused, and unbothered in a loud, rapid-paced, and high-energy environment.
- Communication Skills: Clear, professional verbal communication with team members and pet parents.

Pay: $16.00-$19.27 per hour

Expected hours: 17.0 – 25.0 per week

- Do you have your own reliable personal vehicle to commute to and from shifts daily?
- Do you have at least 1 year of professional, hands-on experience handling multi-dog playgroups in a licensed dog daycare, kennel, grooming salon, or shelter setting? (Do not include private pet sitting/dog walking).
- This role requires standing, moving, and cleaning on your feet for entire 8 hour shifts in a loud, physical environment. Are you able to perform these duties consistently without restriction?
