Looking for full-time red seal carpenter to join growing team. Variety of work including new construction and renovations on commercial & residential work sites.

Rate of Pay: $27 to $37 per hour depending on experience

Education:

- 2 year carpentry diploma and minimum 5 years experience

- Safety training considered asset: WHMIS, Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Aerial Lift, 1st-Aid etc.

Specific Skills:

- Read blueprints, client specifications & work instructions

- Concrete experience considered asset, including formwork & ICF

- Rough framing, roofing, windows/doors & cladding experience required

- Drywall, painting, acoustical ceiling experience considered asset

- Finish carpentry, flooring, millwork & tile work experience considered asset

- Operate various hand tools, machinery & set-up scaffolding

Other Requirements:

- Good communication skills,



ability to work well with others

- Able to work with minimal supervision & produce quality workmanship

- Good customer service skills, keep sites clean & organized

- Detail orientated and able to make precise measurements & cuts

- Physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs

- Must have steel toed boots & personal tool pouch

- Commitment to safety, including wearing PPE
