Casual Event Staff – Greater Edmonton Area

Schedule: Weekdays, evenings and weekends, depending on the event

About the Opportunity

Are you friendly, dependable and looking for flexible work in a fun event environment?

We are a growing event management company looking for energetic people to join our casual event team. We organize expos, markets, business events, community gatherings and private events throughout the Greater Edmonton area.

Every event is different, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, working in new environments and being part of a team that brings exciting experiences to life.

Students are welcome to apply. Previous experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are happy to train the right people!

What You May Be Doing

Your assignment will depend on the event and may include:

- Setting up tables, chairs, signs and event materials
- Welcoming and checking in guests
- Directing attendees and answering basic questions
- Assisting vendors, sponsors and event partners
- Supporting activity areas, giveaways or special event features
- Monitoring entrances and high-traffic areas
- Keeping event spaces organized and presentable
- Helping with general event operations
- Packing supplies and assisting with takedown
- Jumping in wherever extra support is needed

customer service, hospitality, retail, promotions or volunteering is an asset, but it is not mandatory.

Important Details

- This is casual, event-based work with no guaranteed weekly hours.
- You are not required to accept every available event.
- Once you accept a shift, you will be expected to attend and arrive on time.
- Event locations will vary and may be anywhere throughout Greater Edmonton.
- You must have a reliable way to travel to your assigned venue.
- Shifts will typically be between four and eight hours.
- Some events may require early-morning, evening or weekend availability.
- Some assignments may involve standing or walking for extended periods.
- Setup and takedown assignments may involve lifting and carrying event supplies.
- Event information, responsibilities and dress requirements will be provided before each shift.
