We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping tasks. Duties
- Operate heavy machinery such as skid steers to assist with site preparation, grading, and landscaping projects
- Perform gardening tasks including planting and fertilizing to keep landscapes vibrant and healthy
- Apply horticultural principles to support plant growth and landscape aesthetics
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as edging, mulching, weeding, and debris removal
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape features like patios, walkways, or retaining walls
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure operational efficiency
Experience
- Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pull various trailers by 3/4 ton trucks
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance or construction is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the operation of skid steer and other heavy machinery is a plus
- Strong understanding of gardening practices, horticulture principles, and plant care
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and landscaping equipment
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes
- Ability to follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools
- Previous experience in outdoor or construction environments will be advantageous
