PSYCHOLOGIST (Independent Contractor)

We are a locally owned private practice providing a comprehensive range of psychological services to individuals, couples, and families. Our multidisciplinary team of psychologists and therapists is committed to providing effective, evidence-informed treatment within a genuine, compassionate, and client-centred environment.
We are currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to conduct individual and couples therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who values a collegial practice environment, enjoys working collaboratively with other professionals, and is interested in contributing to the continued growth of our practice.
This position is particularly well suited to a psychologist who wants the benefits of working within an established private practice without the administrative responsibilities associated with operating an independent practice, including marketing, client acquisition, accounting, office rental, billing, scheduling, and other practice-management duties.

Compensation: 70/30 Fee Split

Qualifications & RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
- A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.)
- Competency in working with children,
adolescents, and/or adults
- Active registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) and be in good standing
- Candidates completing Supervised Practice or those in the early stages of their career are welcome to apply
- Strong knowledge of clinical and abnormal psychology
- Training and clinical competency in multiple therapeutic modalities
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- A professional, reliable, and client-centred approach
- Ability to manage clinical responsibilities effectively and follow through with scheduled appointments
- Ability to provide services in person and virtually
- Willingness to provide services at our Toronto, Brampton, and Mississauga locations, as required
Experience or training in any of the following areas would be considered an asset:
- Trauma and PTSD
- EMDR
- Addictions
- Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) assessments and treatment
- Child and adolescent psychology
- Couples and family therapy
