CNC Machine Operator – Plasma Table & TRUMPF Punch

Bridgeview Manufacturing is currently looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to operate our CNC plasma cutting table and TRUMPF CNC punch.

Bridgeview Manufacturing is a farm equipment manufacturer located near Gerald, Saskatchewan. We manufacture quality agricultural equipment, including the Bale King line of bale processors and hay rakes, as well as the Pulldozer landshaper and scraper pan.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating our CNC plasma table and TRUMPF CNC punch. Experience operating CNC machinery, particularly CNC plasma, punch, laser, machining, or similar equipment, will be considered an asset.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Program, set up, and operate Bridgeview Manufacturing's CNC plasma cutting table.
- Program, set up, and operate our TRUMPF CNC punch.
- Load and unload sheet steel and material using an overhead crane or forklift.
- Read drawings, work orders, and production documentation.
- Verify finished parts for dimensions, quality, and accuracy.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as required.
- Perform routine machine inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Organize and identify completed parts for downstream production.
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.




- Work with other employees when two or more people are required to safely complete a task.
- Assist with material handling and general production activities as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
- Perform any other shop duties as required.

Qualifications and skills:

- Previous CNC machine operating experience is preferred.
- CNC plasma, CNC punch, laser cutting, or similar sheet-metal equipment experience is a solid asset.
- TRUMPF equipment experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Ability to read and understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Willingness and ability to learn new equipment and processes.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is considered an asset.

Wage is dependent on experience and demonstrated abilities.
