Our team moves fast, values ownership, and loves solving problems. We need a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Specialist to take charge of our day-to-day financial operations. Role Overview

You will manage our complete accounting cycle from day-to-day bookkeeping to month-end close. You will focus heavily on tracking recurring revenue, managing customer billing cycles, and ensuring our financial data is accurate. Expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Daily & Weekly Accounting

- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) within QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Process and settle vendor invoices
- Create customer invoices and process customer payments.
- Perform customer collections; respond to customer queries.
- Set-up new recurring revenue accounts; process changes to existing accounts; process cancellations
- Process Payroll (a mix of hourly and salaried personnel) and related remittances
- Reconcile bank accounts weekly.

Month-End Close & Revenue Tracking





- Track deferred revenue and recognize recurring revenue accurately.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Track fixed assets/depreciation and leases.
- Reconcile credit card accounts.
- Generate monthly financial statements.

Financial Operations

- Utilize advanced features in QuickBooks Enterprise such as memorized transactions.
- Manage interfaces with ancillary payment and field service systems.
- Prepare data for external tax preparers and annual reviews.
- Identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support integration of new acquisitions.

What We Are Looking For

- Software Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop is mandatory.
- Experience: 10 years of accounting experience including 3+ years in full-cycle role
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with subscription, SaaS, or recurring revenue models.
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills. Experience creating Adobe document templates is a bonus.
- Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive. Able to prioritize time and effectively handle multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA track or designation is a bonus).
