Join Our Team as a Client Support Worker!

Fresh Start Recovery Centre is hiring full-time and relief CSWs to work in our Lethbridge Co-ed Facility.

Qualifications:

Client Support Workers should have a post-secondary certification in addiction counselling or two years of recent related experience. Completion of the Peer Support Certification or Recovery Coaching Certification is considered an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

· Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

· Work with people who have been affected by substance misuse and mental health.

· Effectively support participants and their families.

· Keep your workspace organized.

· Set and maintain solid boundaries.

· Observe and recognize behavioural and/or health status changes in participants.





· Role model healthy lifestyle choices.

· Work independently and in collaboration with others.

· Organize and prioritize own workload.

· Operate related equipment and software programs.

· Conflict resolution and crisis intervention skills.

Mandatory Requirements for Hiring

· Vulnerable Persons Clearance

· First Aid and CPR

· Valid Class 5 License

· Computer literate with Office 365/SharePoint

Job Type: Full-time
