Pipes Plumbing Co. is a growing Niagara-based plumbing company completing residential and light commercial service, renovation and new-construction work throughout the region.
We’re looking for an experienced 4th or 5th-year plumbing apprentice or newly licensed Journeyman who wants a long-term position with the opportunity to grow into a Lead Journeyman role.
We’re looking for someone dependable, professional and confident in their abilities—someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers and coworkers, and can be trusted to represent our company properly on every job.
Compensation and Growth
- Compensation dependent on experience and licensing.
- Paid weekly
- Two weeks of paid vacation

Responsibilities
- Complete residential and light commercial plumbing installations, repairs and service work
- Assist with or independently complete rough-ins, finishing and fixture installations
- Diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Read drawings, specifications and job instructions
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes and company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors and other members of the team
- Accurately document work completed and materials used
- Work independently when required while also contributing as part of a team
- Help guide and support junior apprentices as experience allows
Qualifications
- Currently registered as a 4th or 5th-year plumbing apprentice or licensed as a Journeyman Plumber in Ontario
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and the Ontario Building Code
- Previous experience with service, renovation and/or new-construction plumbing
- Valid G driver’s licence with a satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Reliable transportation to our shop
- Ability to provide a police background check
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable, punctual and able to manage responsibilities independently
- Comfortable using a personal cellphone for work-related communication and job documentation
- Must have appropriate work boots and work pants
