Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth operations at our convenience store and fueling station. This role involves assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the station. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a positive attitude to create a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, purchases, and inquiries
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including fueling areas, store shelves, and restrooms
- Manage inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
- Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance sales opportunities
- Handle cash register operations efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing registers at shift end
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly
- Follow safety procedures during fueling operations and store maintenance
- Assist in merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote sales
- Maintain organized work areas to ensure safety and efficiency

Requirements





- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Professional phone etiquette for customer inquiries over the phone or in person
- Multilingual skills are desirable to assist a diverse clientele
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends if needed
- Must be available on weekends

This position offers an opportunity to develop customer service skills in a fast-paced retail environment while contributing positively to our community.

First person - Shifts will be Monday, Wednesday, Saturday shift will be from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

Second person - Shifts will be Monday, Wednesday, Saturday will be from 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
