We require a full-time Dispatcher/Charter Coordinator for our Attridge Coach division based out of our Toronto office. This position offers a positive work environment in a fast paced environment, competitive salary, group benefits along with enhanced skill development.
Job Description:
- Driver Dispatching- assign and coordinate drivers to meet customer needs and schedule requirements.
- Fleet Management-oversee fleet operations, ensuring optimal utilization and maintenance of vehicles assigned.
- Customer Quoting/Pricing- provide timely and accurate quotes to customers, managing pricing inquires and negotiations effectively.
- Computer Proficiency- utilize various software and system to manage dispatch operations, customer interactions and fleet data.
- Multitasking – handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Performs other assigned duties that are within the area of knowledge and skills required by the job description
- May be required to work and/or be accessible for periodic on-call duty
- Maintain regular attendance
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalency
- Post secondary education preferred
- 3 years experience preferred
- Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail
- Speak clearly and distinctly
- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
- Creative, quick learner who will bring innovative thinking
- Well-spoken and comfortable working with all levels of the organization
- Energized, positive attitude and a team player
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast, flexible, multi-task environment with minimal supervision
- Work cooperatively with others
- Must have smartphone and reliable method of transportation
- Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
- Excellent knowledge of all MS Office programs
- Previous experience in dispatching or transportation coordination is considered an asset
