The City of Miramichi is seeking one crosswalk guard to work in the former town of Newcastle under the supervision of the Police Department.
Position Summary: Crosswalk Guards are responsible for safely escorting pedestrians across roadways, at designated school crossings during the school year by monitoring traffic flow gaps and adhering to regulations, policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications: The individual will be subject to security background clearance and must be capable of performing the duties assigned.
Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
