Sladen Moore is a long standing local, independently owned firm of Chartered Skilled Accountants in Vernon, BC. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team.

As a staff accountant/technician at our firm, you will work with client information to prepare a wide range of services as well as assist clients in resolving issues when they arise.

Your daily tasks can include:

Preparing monthly, quarterly or annual bookkeeping

- Preparing year-end financial statements (compilation engagements)
- Preparing personal and corporate income tax returns
- Preparing client payroll
- Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly or annual GST returns
- Preparing and filing quarterly or annual WCB returns




- Preparing T4 and T5 slips

A qualified candidate should have bookkeeping experience and knowledge of Sage and QuickBooks. In addition, public accounting experience that includes the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns and compilation engagements is an asset.
