Job Title: Class 1 Winch Truck Driver

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Class 1 Winch Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a winch truck to load, transport, and unload heavy equipment and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires strong technical driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 1 winch truck to transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites
- Safely load and unload equipment using winch systems
- Secure loads in compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
- Complete required paperwork, logbooks, and electronic logging device (ELD) entries accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel
- Perform basic maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Follow all provincial/state and federal transportation laws and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 (CDL) Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 2–3 years of commercial driving experience (winch truck experience preferred)
- Experience hauling heavy equipment (oilfield, construction, or industrial equipment considered an asset)
- Strong understanding of load securement regulations
- Ability to work independently and in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and capable of handling chains, binders, and winch operations
- Safety tickets ( H2S, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG,CSO) required

Pay: $38.00-$46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
