Position Overview:

The SCM Materials Management Specialist plays a key role in supporting operations by ensuring the accurate and timely material handling activities related to inventory.

With a focus on cross-department collaboration, the SCM Materials Management Specialist will work closely with various departments to understand their material needs, communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on inventory strategies and resolve issues related to schedule, quality, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute materials inventory management processes, including stocking received products, conducting Order Picking by accurately picking parts and materials based on job orders, ensuring correct quantities and item selection to meet production or project needs.
- Material Returns: Process the return of unused or excess materials from completed jobs, including inspecting, counting, and restocking items in the inventory system.
- Shipping & Receiving: Complete the receipt of incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and organizing materials for storage or distribution.
- Forklift/ Crane Operation: Operate Forklifts and cranes for material handing duties.
- Inventory Management: Assist with regular cycle counts, inventory audits, and adjustments to maintain accurate stock levels and records. Monitor inventory to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records in the ERP system and or document management system including but not limited to logging material movements, discrepancies, MTR and packing slips.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and materials are stored in their correct locations. Assist in optimizing storage layouts for efficiency.
- Packing & Shipping:



Prepare or support the preparation of goods for shipment, including packing, labeling, and arranging transportation. Ensure shipments meet quality and safety standards.
- Communication: Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available as needed and any issues are addressed promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and ensure materials are stored and handled according to safety protocols.
- Ensure Material Management practices comply with organizational policies.
- Prepare reports related to activities.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager to ensure REV's goals and objectives are met.
- Comply with duties and responsibilities listed in REV's Safety and Human Resources Policy Manual.
- Performs duties according to REV's quality system procedures and work instructions.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in similar SCM Materials Management role.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Strong computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must.
- Must have forklift and crane experience.
- Proficiency in procurement software such as NAV, SAP, Oracle of similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- A collaborative team player with a notable willingness to learn and develop recent skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.




- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- A physically demanding position, must be able to lift 50 pounds without restriction.
- Excellent safety record/ safety conscious with an interest in continued learning of safety precautions and procedures.
