We work in a metal manufacturing, construction, and installation environment. This is a physically demanding role. If you enjoy hands on work and learning recent skilled trades, you will excel in this position. Attention to detail is critical to this role and you must be able to be a team player.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Operate heavy machinery such as excavator, dozer, and skid steer.

· Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper execution of construction projects.

· Perform grading and leveling tasks as required.

· Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.

· Always follow safety procedures and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

· Strong work ethic and a team player.

· Follow direction and stay on the task at hand.

· Travel and overnight stays (company paid room and meals).

Duties

- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and forklifts with precision and safety compliance
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Assist in the transportation of materials across job sites using commercial driving skills when necessary
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance




- Support automotive repair tasks related to heavy machinery when required
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project tasks efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities

Experience

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, or similar machinery
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts in industrial settings
- Experience handling freight logistics and performing commercial driving duties preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair related to heavy machinery is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions effectively

Job Qualifications and Assets:

· 3+ years of experience operating heavy machinery such as excavator, dozer, and skid steer.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

· Knowledge of grading and leveling techniques.

· Physical ability to lift 50lbs.

· Valid G Driver's license with a clear abstract.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.

· Proven track record of self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 – 50.0 per week
