K1 Speed STC is looking for a dependable and energetic Cook to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for prepping ingredients, cooking menu items, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will help ensure our guests receive great-tasting food, served quickly and safely. Job Description
As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you’ll help prepare ingredients, cook food to order, and keep the kitchen clean and running smoothly. You’ll follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality, while supporting the rest of the kitchen staff to create a great dining experience for our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Assist with basic food prep, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Ensure all food is cooked and handled safely, following food safety guidelines
- Keep your work area, equipment, and kitchen clean and sanitized at all times
- Label, date,



and store ingredients properly to minimize waste
- Work as part of a team to support smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with closing duties and kitchen cleanup
- Communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure accurate and timely food delivery

Basic Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Available to work evening and weekend shifts
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire)
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required – we’re happy to train the right person!

Work Environment

- Indoor kitchen setting with exposure to heat, steam, and food prep equipment
- Fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs may be required
