About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a quick-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing plant performance, and leading a team focused on safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will provide both strategic and hands-on leadership, partnering closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams to optimize asset performance, minimize downtime, and support long-term business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of maintenance professionals and skilled trades employees.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall operational performance.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable solutions.
- Manage maintenance planning,
contractor relationships, and maintenance budgets.
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support production, quality, and business goals.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success improving equipment reliability and operational performance.
- Experience managing maintenance programs, budgets, and capital projects.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
