Duties
- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers safely to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labour tasks to load, unload, and organize inventory
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Assist with order picking to fulfill customer orders efficiently and precisely
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks to ensure proper functioning
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean, safe, and orderly work areas
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve workflow processes
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers in a warehouse setting
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred
- Strong attention to safety procedures and compliance standards
