We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling shipments, communicating with drivers, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of freight operations, trucking logistics, and the ability to coordinate and optimize transportation processes.
Duties
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and drivers
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to provide necessary information for successful deliveries.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and update information.
- Analyze freight data to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
- Proficient in phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations.
- Familiarity with SyteLine and AS400 systems is a plus.
- Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
