We’re Looking for Someone Who Notices What Others Miss
You notice when a guest looks confused.
You notice when an employee is overwhelmed or disengaged.
You notice when a process is slowing everyone down.
And instead of walking past it, you want to fix it.
We are looking for an energetic, social and hands-on Assistant Manager who loves working with people, enjoys leading a team, and gets satisfaction from making a busy facility run smoothly.
This role is the bridge between our employees, our guests and our General Manager.
You will spend your time on the floor, talking with people, coaching employees, solving problems, improving communication and finding better ways to operate.
Our mindset is simple:
We see it. We address it. We make it better.
If something is not working, we do not keep doing it just because “that’s how it has always been done.”
We figure out why, try a better way and follow through.
What You’ll Do
Lead and Support the Team
- Direct employees during daily operations and busy periods
- Keep staff organized, productive and focused
- Coach employees and provide clear feedback
- Address performance issues when expectations are not being met
- Recognize strong performance
- Help resolve communication issues and workplace concerns
- Create a positive culture with explicit expectations and accountability
You should be approachable and easy to talk to, while still being comfortable saying:
“I understand, but this is the expectation going forward.”
Be the Bridge Between Employees and Management
- Make sure employees feel heard and supported
- Communicate management expectations clearly
- Help prevent information from getting lost between departments
- Follow up so concerns do not simply disappear
- Help turn employee feedback into practical improvements
Make the Facility Flow Better
This is a busy entertainment environment, so you need to enjoy being where the action is.
You will:
- Lead assigned shifts
- Adjust staffing based on real-time needs
- Monitor guest flow and wait times
- Move employees where support is needed
- Identify bottlenecks before they become bigger problems
- Keep departments communicating
- Step into frontline positions during busy periods or shortages
- Help keep the entire facility organized and moving
Notice Problems and Improve the System
We want someone who naturally asks:
“Why does this keep happening?”
If the same mistake or complaint keeps coming up, your job is not just to correct it again.
You will help determine whether the issue is:
- Training
- Communication
- Staffing
- A confusing procedure
- An unclear responsibility
- A poor workflow
- Or simply a process that needs to change
You will work with management to improve procedures, checklists, training, guest flow and employee communication.
Connect With Guests
You should genuinely enjoy talking to people.
You will:
- Walk the facility and interact with guests
- Check in with groups and events
- Notice when someone may need help before they ask
- Resolve routine guest concerns
- Help recover negative experiences
- Identify patterns in guest feedback
- Share ideas for improving the overall guest experience
The goal is not only to solve complaints.
It is to notice problems early enough that they never become complaints.
Train and Develop Employees
- Coordinate onboarding and refresher training
- Help employees understand procedures and expectations
- Coach employees on guest service and communication
- Help strengthen product knowledge and sales confidence
- Follow up when additional training is needed
- Help create simple SOPs, checklists and training tools
Support Sales and Business Performance
You will help our front-desk team confidently explain our attractions,
packages, promotions, memberships and add-ons.
We are not looking for aggressive sales tactics.
We want employees who can listen to the guest and confidently say:
“Based on what you’re looking for, I think this option would work better for you.”
You will help identify missed opportunities and improve sales through better product knowledge and better conversations.

- Take ownership and follow through
- Are willing to jump in and help when the team needs it
- Constantly think about how something could work better
Previous management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Experience in entertainment, hospitality, restaurants, retail, recreation or another fast-paced customer environment is an asset.
