Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical components, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and specialized equipment such as welders and lifts to execute maintenance tasks accurately.
- Conduct heavy lifting and operate heavy machinery like excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment safely.
- Inspect and service farm machinery, construction equipment (including Caterpillar machines), and other heavy-duty vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities and document repairs thoroughly in service records.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines,



and maintenance recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to dealership standards for quality and safety.

Requirements

- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical background.
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar industrial machinery is a plus.
- Skilled in welding, electrical troubleshooting, schematics reading, and using hand tools or power tools effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery confidently.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems within vehicles or industrial settings is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, industrial equipment, or assembly processes is beneficial.
- Valid certifications in automotive repair or relevant technical training preferred; ongoing learning encouraged.

Pay: $16.00-$1,748.74 per hour
