Responsibilities
· Shipments of finished products with UPS/Fed Ex/ DHL and LTL freight, shipment of products to customers
· Familiarity leading to proficiency in US Homeland Security requirements for trans-border shipping (harmonization coding/ synchronization coding and).
· Inspection of incoming raw materials and purchased items to ensure that they meet the criteria that are listed on the purchase order.
· Inspection of Finished goods to ensure that they meet the criteria that are listed on the production drawings.
· Assembly, packaging and complete shipping transactions of finished goods.
· Organizational skills to maintain and file records relating to finished goods received goods and shipped product.
· Operation of Forklift for loading and unloading trucks, moving material within workshop.
· Ability to read Dial calipers and tape measure.
· Washing of finished products
· Maintain goods both incoming and outgoing from the stockroom.
· Valid Driver’s license with a clean record for in-town pickups and deliveries.
· Familiarity with Oracle Business software.
· Proficient in multi-tasking
· Daily inventory counts of stock room parts and raw material
· Communicating with suppliers, freight companies, and customers via email and/or telephone
· Knowledge of stockroom and where items are to be stored in accordance with quantity and size.
· Pressure testing of Finished Goods
· Ability to setup and mark finished products
Job Requirements
Education/Experience:
Required to have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
Excellent verbal skills to communicate with Co-workers and supervisors regarding technical issues. Ability to read and interpret blueprints specifications. Strong mechanical skills and working knowledge.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
Attitude:
Must display a positive attitude in dealing with supervisors and co-workers
Have open lines of communication with team members. Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with co-workers.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Must be able to work at the Calgary facility.
-Possible lifting of heavier items, bending, kneeling and stretching.
-Fast-paced office and workshop environment with artificial lighting.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
