Join our energetic dental team as a Certified or Licensed Dental Assistant. Required days: Mondays and Wednesdays.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up dental tools and materials for various procedures.
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software/ Dentrix, documenting procedures and treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures to promote long-term oral health.
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance or billing inquiries when needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, including sterilization procedures and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
- Current certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program; knowledge of state-specific licensing requirements is essential.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software/ Dentrix
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques, infection control standards, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills as a Dental Receptionist or front desk support are beneficial for seamless patient interactions.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week

Experience:
- full time Canadian Dental Assisting: 1 year (required)
