Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our team and drive excellence in materials management and supply chain operations. In this role, you will oversee inventory levels, coordinate procurement activities, and optimize warehouse distribution processes to ensure seamless order fulfillment and operational efficiency. Duties

- Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses using ERP systems such as AS400, SAP, or similar platforms to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Conduct data collection, mining, and analysis to forecast demand accurately and support demand planning strategies.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to streamline procurement processes and coordinate sourcing activities with suppliers and 3PL providers.
- Oversee warehouse distribution operations, including order fulfillment, materials management, and warehouse management system (WMS) optimization.
- Develop data visualization dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to monitor inventory KPIs, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
- Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms for procurement while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement process improvements by analyzing supply chain workflows, reducing inefficiencies, and enhancing overall operational productivity.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by overseeing forklift operations and other warehouse safety protocols.
- Collaborate with retail management and e-commerce teams to align inventory strategies with merchandising plans and sales forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, audits, and cycle counts to ensure data integrity across systems.

Skills

- Strong analytics skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Expertise in demand planning, procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply chain management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like AS400 or other enterprise resource planning software; familiarity with WMS solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution logistics, materials management practices, and order fulfillment procedures.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor management and procurement negotiations.
- Ability to perform detailed data mining and visualization to support strategic initiatives.
- Familiarity with retail management principles and e-commerce logistics workflows.
- Certification or experience in forklift operation is preferred for safety compliance purposes.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets for process improvement opportunities.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration within supply chain teams.
